Tradewagon started out as an custom PHP portal solution back in the early 2000's before SharePoint arrived on the scene. I used it to build the prototype for the new Canada's Job Bank and a nifty auto parts site. SharePoint and various other portal solutions showed up and pretty much sunk that.
I don't mind. I had too many people working out of my basement. So Tradewagon became a consulting firm again doing freelance work in the .NET and PHP world until I stumbled on a contract that got me into SharePoint. I played there for a while and took a few straight .NET gigs but when 2007 was born it became obvious that SharePoint was going to be around for a while.
